Policies

General Policy
Rates listed are for room only and do not include a required boat transfer ($125-250 per person round trip) or required meal plan ($30-60 per person per day) unless booking a package. Please remember that Long Caye is about a 1.5 to 2 hour boat ride and is 50 miles offshore from Belize city. The boat transfer lasts approximately 2 hours and will leave at 2PM. A 10% service is charged on room, dining, and bar orders. This service charge is dispensed in an equal share to our dining room, bar, housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance crew as gratuities/tips. Since you are being charged a service charge on your invoice, there is no need to leave a tip for the hotel staff. However, if you feel they did an exceptional job, please feel free to leave something extra if you wish. Park Fees for Blue Hole ($30 USD per person) and Half Moon Caye Marine Park ($10 USD per person) are not included and must be paid for on-site in cash. All packages are discounted items and are weather dependent. No refunds will be given for unused portions of packages and no substitutions can be made between packages. Any cost associated with an evacuation or dive chamber is solely at the cost of the guest. We strongly recommend dive/travel insurance. All prices are listed in US$.
Written Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled at least 31 days prior to arrival receive a full refund of all monies paid. If reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, 100% of payment is forfeited.
Written Deposit Policy
A 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than 31 days prior to arrival. If the reservation is made within 30 days of arrival then payment in full is required to confirm the reservation.
Check In
Check-in is available upon arrival.
Check Out
Check out is at 8AM. If we do not have an arrival for this room we are happy to extend the time.

Other Policy
Itza Resort is happy to offer customized dive, snorkel, and fishing packages after your booking is confirmed. Purified water is available throughout the resort. In order to reduce single use plastics, we invite you to bring a reusable water bottle. We also have water bottles available for purchase in the the resort. Wifi is available in common areas of the resort (not available in individual rooms). Telephone use is available for a fee.
Children
Children ages 3 and under stay and eat free. Children ages 9 and under receive 50% off transportation and meal plans. Ages 10 and up are considered adults.
