Cawarra (Mt Buller, Victoria) is a family friendly private club lodge that extends its welcome to mountain loving public like you! The lodge is conveniently located 5 minutes walking distance to the main village, ski lifts, shops, toboggan slope and shuttle bus stops. In the comfort of our lodge we have only 5 private guest bedrooms (all with private en-suites), a separate bathroom, a large comfortable, communal living area with gas fireplace, over-sized dining table, modern kitchen, games room area, BBQ on enclosed deck. and drying room. There's even a storage area for your bags pre or post check in/out. Our lodge manager Warren will send you everything you need to know 2-7 days prior to your arrival. Winter 2025 Check In: 4pm Your lodge entry door code will be emailed to you 2-7 days prior to your arrival by the manager. Please keep this code private for your security. Children
Children are aged 3-17. Children 2 and under are free. They may be provided with a cot although there is only one cot and one high chair available in the lodge. Please use waterproof bedding when it may be required.
Other Policy
Respectful and collaborative use of shared spaces at all times is expected. Cawarra ski club is a communal lodge environment, which means that while there are no formal guest duties, guests are expected to clean up after themselves immediately in all communal spaces. This includes tidying duties such as keeping the foyer and drying room tidy, emptying and setting the dishwashing, sweeping up or cleaning the dining, BBQ and cooking spaces, and ensuring the games room is left tidy after kids and guest use. We also request guests are mindful of electricity use by turning off lights, heating and fireplace when not needed during the day and at night. There is strictly NO EATING OR FOOD / DRINKS allowed in bedrooms or games room. Please respectfully report any damage, accidents or concerns to the manager or booking office as soon as possible. Full lodge bookings are per lodge only (during winter the manager will be on site) for exclusive use of the lodge. You must leave the lodge in a clean state and report any damage. A refundable $500 Damage Deposit is required for all full lodge bookings prior to obtaining the door code for entry. All damage must be paid for. Damage to bedding or any part of the lodge must be reported to the manager/booking office and a replacement fee will be charged where appropriate.
