Policies

Written Cancellation Policy
All reservations are due in full at the time of booking as a deposit for your reservation. If a cancellation is made 14 days or more prior to arrival the deposit will be refunded minus a $35 processing fee. For all reservations canceled less than 14 days before arrival, the deposit is non-refundable We do not accept cancellations due to weather. All cancellations must be processed via our representatives, we do not accept cancellations via email. ---- Vacation Rental Insurance is available with your reservation at the original time of purchase. Vacation Rental Insurance provides coverage for the loss of prepaid, non-refundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation investment and force you to incur unplanned expenses. Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage is available for events such as a sickness or injury of yourself, family member, or traveling companion; flight delays due to adverse weather; interruptions of road service; terrorist acts; and mandatory evacuations. Written Deposit Policy
Online reservations require a deposit of the full balance for the stay at the time of booking.

Check-In Begins at 4:30 PM The minimum age to check-in is 21 years old, proof of identity is required for check-in.
Check Out
Check-out is 11:00am.
Pets Policy
There are a limited number of pet-friendly rooms available. There will be an extra charge of $35 per day per room. Pets brought into non-pet rooms will result in a minimum charge of $150+tax for the infraction of the policy. Please call for availability. ADA service dogs are exempt from fees. Allergies: Please let us know if you are allergic to pets and we will ensure your stay in a non-pet-friendly suite.
Other Policy
All lodging reservations at Caribou Highlands Lodge are subject to an additional Resort Service Charge (10%) and a Regional Tax/Fee (4%) at the time of purchase. All lodging reservations are subject to Minnesota State Sales Tax (6.875%) and Cook County Sales Tax (1.5%). Applicable taxes and fees are not included in the room rates.
